We are all American-Americans
Sergio J. Fernandez, July 14, 2013.
I was only 9 years old when Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. delivered his famous speech "I Have a Dream", on August 28, 1963. To date, I still share Dr. King's dream, and God willing; I will share it until the day I die. Otherwise, Dr. King's teachings and sacrifice were in vain.
Today, President Barak Obama is the president of the USA because we, the majority, have embraced Dr. King's ideals, not because of the means and methods some violent and racist groups, which are minority, want to impose on us.
As Dr. King clearly stated:
As Dr. King clearly stated:
“We cannot walk alone. And as we walk, we must make the pledge that we shall always march ahead. We cannot turn back.”
- Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., August 28, 1963.
